FOG Flashback 6/14/1999, The night both Gerlitz's stormed off

As far as the recap goes, the game was called due to the other squad failing to read the small print of this years roster requirements, 5 just won't cut it any more. Yet as soon as the game was called both Gerlitzs aka G2 took off. The team was a bit surprised by their quick departure until Coach Boyd reminded us the Joe had to get back to the Felicity Marathon and that Mikey G had to feed their dog Harley balls.
But since we had the time and the field we challenged the other squad to a little game and though some didn't take it very seriously (Nolte) Coach Boyd brought out the leather like it was some kinky S & M event. First a diving catch, then hustling to double up a runner at first and then finally combining with right fielder Matt Cook to throw out a runner at first from the outfield on a would be single. Never mind he went 6-7. Mukai also brought out the whooping stick, driving in 38 runs with 5 extra base hits a new Fog record). Unfortunately some things don't change, Nolte once again struggled at the plate, going 2-9 and was lit up as the pitcher.
But the player of the game, had to be Steve Boyd #21
